About the Author

Johnathan Reynolds started using staffs from the age of 7 in his martial arts classes which he continued to the age of 14. Soon after moving back to the United Kingdom to go to school he realised on Brighton beach while watching a fire staff spinner that was what he had been waiting for.

The transfer from a martial arts staff with all those years learning how to defend yourself to staff spinning was so natural for him it wasnt long before he found other like-minded spinners and learned every thing he could.

Not long after this Johnathan starting performing professionally around the world. He now has a large collection of skills he uses in his acts which include poi spinning, stilt walking, club swinging, stage fighting, pyro-techniqes, costume design, as well as holding a Computer Science Degree with Honors.

Johnathan and his wonderful wife Helen are currently directing and performing in their own entertainments and events company called "Flaming Fun".
